Playing patch 3.0, it seems that two of the victory conditions - economic and supreme leader - have been removed. Is this true? The , option no longer appears on the menu to try to corner the global energy market, and I never see "Unite behind me as supreme leader" on the council options any more. I am sure these were available in v2.0.
Can you offer any assistance?

Which version (US, UK, etc.) are you using?
Using v3.0 US, I can win through diplomatic means and [untried] it seems, economic ends, as well.
For corner global energy, try pressing "," [comma] when viewing the Planet map - it should provide info on what needs to be done to achieve a cornering of the global energy market.
For "unite as supreme leader" [and cornering the energy market], are you certain that you have attained the requisite techs for each to come into play for your faction?

I am on patch v.3 of the US version. Thanks for the advice, but I've already thought of those. I figured the option had been accidentally removed from the menus so I repeatedly tried the , option. I was sitting on 120,000 credits but it would not give not let me do it.
As far as winning by diplomacy, I was on trancendent thought #46 by the end of the game, so I think I had any requisite technology. But whenever I tried to call the council, the option was not listed.

Make sure the options aren't disabled in the custom rules menu. Hit CTRL-K, yes, then F10 to check.
