I downloaded some custom factions from sites, but I can't figure out how to play with them... HELP!!!

You could start a new game and in the screen were you choose your factsion choose LOAD...

Only problem is that the (if you have them) custom graphics don't show after save and load. (A BUG?)

I tried that... i didn't work... maybe I spelled it wrong or capitolized it or something...

The custom faction file you want to load should be in your main Alpha Centauri directory, start a new game and select LOAD. If the faction file is named "john.txt", you write "john" without the .txt in the Load prompt.
