Whenever, I now boot up SMAC I get this
Direct Draw 6.1 Beta Expired, Please Update.
Will there be a update released or is this some type of mistake. And If it is a mistake how do I correct it?
Please, I need help with this I need to play SMAC!!

I'd start by getting the latest version of DX 6.1 from www.microsoft.com/directx.
