The system:
AMD K6-2 400
128 Mb PC100 SDRAM
Matrox Millenium G200 w/ 16 Mb SGRAM
Sound Blaster Live
Creative VooDoo 2 8 Mb
Edimax (realtek chipset) 10BaseT card
TMC TI5VG+ mainboard - VIA MP3 chipset

Problem:
It gives me a "dperr_unavailable" error and requests me to install Direct X 5 or later in order to play IPX or TCP/IP multiplayer games...

I installed DX 6.1...no good...uninstalled and installed DX 6...same...uninstalled an installed DX 5...no good again...What Am I to do?

I have the winsock 2.2 upgrade, DUN 1.3 patch, TCP/UDP updates, and Win95 B OSR 2. I have the network set up for etherlink II frame type w/ netBIOS enabled over IPX, and NetBeui and TCP/IP installed as regularly done so...network connection on logon...and file and printer sharing enabled...

...even if I am not hooked up to the network...the game should at least start up...please help me out here.

Maethwyn.
