When I start SMAC, the introduction plays with no problems. Then I get to the next screen so I can start a new game but I get the "Illegal operation and will be shut down" message. When I hit the close button, the game shuts down. If I don't hit the close button, I can click on start game and choose a faction but the program doesn't go any further. I've uninstalled and reinstalled on a different drive but nothing changes. Can anybody help? |
