During a LAN match, I ended my turn whilst my (human) adversary was deep into dodgy negotiations with the UN. When control went to him, his dialogue screen went blank and although he could highlight things and move the mouse, the game was effectively finished. He was running the host. I took a save game at the point of failure and we tried to restart the game with exactly the same settings. When he tried to load from his auto-save, the option wasn't there under the 'game' menu list. Does anyone have a definitive procedure for restarting network games the stopped in mid-flow ? |
