It's 2253, I'm the Gaians and have built the Empath Guild. Therefore I have infiltrators in each of the other factions. I'm playing on a huge random map so there's still a lot of terrain I haven't seen. I am making liberal use of the the inflitrators to check out lab status, energy banks and production of the other factions when I wonder if clicking on the base icon (in base operations) for an undiscovered base will show me the surrounding tiles. Imagine my surprise when the governors of the bases start coming on! Is this a design feature, being able to direct the production of the other factions bases, or is it a bug??? I did finish off the turn and checked if the governors were still set to my settings and they were. However, the items that were listed as in production before I monkeyed with their settings were back in production. I mention this because as I changed the governors, several of the bases changed what they were working on.

Yeah, the same thing happened to me, but I never checked to see if they would change because of the governers.Anyone notice how the AI can change production and hurry during Your turn, giving them a huge advantage for getting troops out quickly, extremely frustrating when trying to conquer a small, rich faction, just to have a new hurried unit each turn in all the bases. |
