I am currently playing a single player game. I have a PLANET rating of +3. I have a base with a Tree Farm and Hybrid Forest producing 20 minerals per turn. It's showing a positive percentage chance of ecological damage each turn. According to the formula for ecological damage (under Advanced Concepts in the DataLinks) I should never have a chance of ecological damage when my PLANET rating is +3 or higher. What is going on? Is the formula incorrect or is there more to the calculation of ecological damage than is listed in the DataLinks? I would really appreciate a reply.

Wow, you're right! (3 - Planet) is a coefficient to the entire damage equation, meaning a Planet value of 3 or more should make you immune. I'm sure this wasn't intended, so they probably fudged the equation a little, but I'd sure like to know how.

What gives? When are they going to document the REAL formula? It's Father's Day! Where's my cake?
