I get a black screen some time after I have started the game and seen the initial logo. Task manager shows not responding. I have installed SP3 and I have disabled DirectDraw renamed the sound.dll
Just downloaded patch V2.0 (German) but that doesn't help either.
DirectX should be ok because I recently updated.
Any suggestions? THX

Apply SP4 with the latest DirectX for NT and your problem should go away. Movies play fine under SP4 - only the sound will continue to stutter during gameplay. This is a DirectX issue that Microsoft will have to solve. They are planning an SP5 so hopefully they will catch NT up in the DirectX arena then.
