Here's a saved game with two terraformers left to move in the turn. After that the game locks up, no crash it just frezzes completly. Is this because of the hardware or a general problem?http://www.e.kth.se/~e96_dbu/morgan.zip K6-2@400, G200, 96Mb, MSI5184 mb, Win98, DirectX 6.0 and all the latests drivers....

Check your file attributes. I'm unable to get the file.

diatribe,I tried it. Same problem. No crash. Just freeze. But I am able to CAD and exit to the desktop, so it didn't lock me out of the system entirely--just the game. Please send this to Firaxis if they don't get back to you. Could we be on the brink of a traceable problem? Yin |

I have a similar problem with a game that freezes every time at the same location. I am playing PK on talent level.I downloaded the Morganite game from Diatribe & reproduced it... but cannot find a fix for either game. Do you have a solution to Diatribe's problem yet? What does Firaxis say? I'm using PII-233, 128mb Ram, plenty of HD space. I switched to 8mb Matrox Millenium AGP card the day before the "freeze", but I believe I have the latest drivers & d=DirectX 6.1 |
