Hey guys! STOP IT!
You tightened up the code so that the human controlled formers can't farm or plant trees on the 8 tiles around the volcano mouth BUT you also PROGRAMMED the computer to BUILD cities on the VOLCANO! I have a saved game that demonstrates how the HIVE (CP) went out of its WAY to build a city on magma!
I think you should have gave your programmers that raise as I have found several "Enhancements" to the computer AI on this level... purposeful bugs/new cheats in favor of the AI.

I just finished a farm and solar collector on the volcano cap. I have not tried to build on the cap since the demo. when your in the tile, use ctrl-shift-s for solar and farm and road. (I know, 1 at a time don't work, but has it ever??) I think it just got missed in the patch. BTW, it Mount Planet is a dead volcano, why not build stuff there. if it is an active volcano, where's the eruptions?? I would love to see a Morgan Melt on rye.

I've been able to plant forests and farms and whatnot on the tiles around the volcano.. I haven't noticed but does the tiles around it randomize per game as to what might be there? (Rocky, etc) ..An ally and I were on each side of the volcano, and I planted forests, farms and lowered the land so I could do more..(And to cap off the volcano, in fear that some day it might burp again)

yea, even the top tile is random. some time rocky, somtimes not.
