Why does the game not give me credit for building the satellites? It keeps it in the menu after I have built them and doesn't give me the nutrients/minerals that should come along with it... (or at least I don't think it does) Can we build multiple Hydroponics in each city?

Satellites go into orbit when you build them. They do not show up in your facilities list in the City Window. Go to HQ and select Orbital Assets to see your satellites.

You only can receive benifits up to the size of your city. Say you build 10 hydroponic satalites and you have citys of size five, they will only receive five extra nutrients.
Less if you don't have Aerospace complex.
