Attacking native life forms under the control of a faction doesn't yield any energy.
Capturing lifeforms doesn't, either, so ...
Either (a) the "Planetpearls" are supposed to be removed from the native life when they are grown or captured, in which case, where's my money?, or (b) the "Planetpearls" may only be recovered after death from the husks, in which case, where's my money?
For that matter, since worms are worth money if you kill them, and since you don't get paid for capturing them, and since this implies that the "husk", the asset that makes them valuable, has yet to be redeemed, you should be able to Disband them and get paid, too.

I get planetpearls when I attack and kill native mindworms, but when they attack me and I kill them, I don't get planetpearls?
Rather inconsistent, isn't it?

Yeah. "Attack" implies physical contact -- to do damage the worms have to eat your troops' brains -- so defeating the worms implies pleny of readily-accessible worm husks.
