Sorry to return to this but...Whenever I try to install the V2 Uk patch it gets to 78% and then aborts telling me it can't find a file. I have reinstalled several times, used three different virus checkers and tried different patches from different sites + magazine CD's. I assume i have the UK version - it says 1.0i - all the documentation has a EA UK address. Any thoughts ? The US patch didn't work either.

What file can't it find?
Did you rename your sound.dll to sound.dl_? This causes a file not found error.

it was the sound.dll but i haven't renamed anything or played with the text files. I have a new install without any save games
