SMAC worked perfectly until I installed v3.0, now there is no sound after the opening movie, I've allready tried to disable the files on alphacentauri.ini, it doesn't work.
I have a 350PII, 128mb RAM, 5gb free hard drive space. I have fully compatible sound systems. Tell me what to do.

Obviously I am not a tech support person, but here are some suggestions:
1. Copy your save files to another directory to avoid losing them.
2. Reinstall and run the game
3. Use patch 2.0 and run the game
4. Reinstall and use Patch 3.0
If step 4 is the only step that still doesn't work, then get new sound drivers, and ask someone who knows more than me.

That didn't do anything, my only problem was v3.0, I neeed more help.

What's your soundcard? Try setting your DS3D and EAX settings to 0 in the alpha centauri.ini file.
