could someone please tell me what the differences are between all these different versions!! i keep seeing "for US version only, for UK version only etc"
what does this mean?
i bought my alpha centauri in the US..
if the differences are only in the language, how do I change my version to the UK verion (i live in india and in india we use UK english)

please help..

Gameplay and so forth is identical in all versions. No language difference between US and UK versions. Only difference is publisher added copy protection to UK version, so you're better off with the US version anyway.

Hmm, how do you check what version you have? I can�t find anything about wich version OR wich country it�s customized for.

Bought the game in Sweden, THINK it is the US verison but can�t use any of the upgrade patches.

It's not obvious. If it's in english, check the EA Technical Support help file. It will say UK if it's UK. Otherwise, it's US.
