Completing the Self-Aware Colony, which reduces support costs, does not seem to change your income as reported on the Social Engineering screen, Energy Reserves screen, or the little center-window infobox. The actual income changes, just not the reported income.
Not a big deal, and maybe it's not even repeatable (I've only built it once), but I figured I'd report it.
This was with v2.0.
