O.K. I'm getting planet busted by a faction half way around the world (huge map). On the turn he builds it, it blows up on the other side of the globe; 100% sure on this as I'm keeping track of his builds very carefully. Is there a way to actually do this or is this a very annoying game-stopping bug?

Do you have the patch for v2.0?
There was a problem with missiles, so mayde it was also with PB:s.

V2.0 has a fix for this bug

I've got v2.0 and I am having the same problem. I haven't recieved any planetbusters yet, though. I don't know about when the AI is building these missles, but I have checked distances between bases. The closest base anybody has to me is 25 moves away, they're missles are supposed to be moving 16!

It's not fixed in v2.0 - in fact, you can take advantage of the same little 'feature'. Just automate that PB you build, and watch it blow up a city on the other side of the world in the next instant...
