Hi David,Okay, to troubleshoot your problem there are a number of things to do:
* First, make sure you have the 2.0 patch.
* Second, follow all the instructions in the README.TXT as far as making sure you have lots of virtual memory, lots of free disk space on your C drive, and so forth (you really want 100MB free disk space or so, so windows will have enough virtual memory). From your symptoms, it really sounds more like a virtual memory issue for you. If you're a reasonably experienced Windows user, consider going into Control Panel/System and manually setting your virtual memory to 100MB or so.
* Close all other programs, including any icons on the lower right of your taskbar (your "systray").
