Let me say right now that I have got a higher regard for this company and this product than I ever thought I could have.
I got these legacy sound cards: SB AWE 32 and Yamaha SW60XG. Running a 41.67 MHz PCI bus 'cause I overclocked the Celeron that way What is happening is this. Every so often, I'll hear a loud buzz. It'll be in the middle of some speech on future tech or builiding completed usually. Don't seem to hear it during the administrative "production complete" stuff. Anybody experiencing this? I've set 16-bit Recovery in BIOS to 2, should a higher value (like 4) fix it? Should I also change 8-bit Recovery? These are the best ISA sound boards, I like them a lot. Do I have to go buy a PCI sound card? Did I get a terrible motherboard (Tekram P6B40-A4X)?
Things the game won't do right:
Shift+F with Sea Formers on a sea fungus square doesn't kill fungus, you get an alert saying you can't plant forest. Should kill fungus.
Trying to do a bombing run on a base alerts that you must target a base. I'm trying to target the base, maybe I'm not clicking on it precisely enough?
Thanks Firaxis for an incredible game.

To my knowledge, just plain old "f" kills sea fungus, just as it does on land. If all else fails, just right click on the square and choose from the menu, or use the game menu - terraform.
