I have researched to the point where I have level 6 armor and level 12 weapons. If I create a jet with my best weapon and no armor, it says it will cost 60. If I then add any armor up to level 5, it says that the unit will cost 50. Something there doesn't seem right.
Does adding armor to a jet help at all?

The cost dropping is a bug fixed in v3.0.
