We played a IPX multiplayer game and saved it for the next week. When we loaded the game it started in hotseat mode.
Is there a way to restart multiplayer games on different machines?
It happens on 1.x and 2.0 versions

restarting saved games works for me and my friends. when reloading the game, it should've saved all of the game's options. if it didn't just change them back.
oh yah, make sure you're loading the game from the right place: you need to load it from the multiplayer game setup NOT from the main menu.

Don't load it from the main menu. Host and IPX game and load it from the Type of Game menu on the setup screen.
