posted 02-26-99 10:33 AM ET I know you guys must be going crazy trying to hunt down bugs, a lot of which may be related to individual people's systems, but I was hoping you could post a list of problems you have confirmed and will fix in the next patch. A lot of the problems listed in this forum I have never seen a definitive "Yes we found it and fixed it" or "No we couldn't reproduce that one, sorry." but I think people would feel better if we knew which ones fell into which categories. I for one am most interested in the 2 which are killing my multiplayer games:
1. The supply crawler bug for anyone who isn't the host in MP.
2. The talking to a computer controlled faction when your turn comes up and diplomacy window goes black and you have to ctrl-alt-del to get out.
Thanks for your hard work, and for actually reading your own forum (I don't think a lot of other companies do that).

1. Yup. Fixed in v3.0. 2. Working on it. You're talking about the non-simultaneous move MP right?

Yea, non-simultaneous only on the 2nd one. Thanks for the quick response, and good luck with that second bug.
I hate bugfixing...

It would be nice if the forum search engine worked Then we could search for messages from Jeff and read his responses (those are generally the interesting ones).
Cheers, stick

actually, alot of the same problems I see on here are happening to me on SIMULTANEOUS multiplayer.
sometimes I would try to call the other player but it says that he's busy negotiating with other players (when he's not doing anything!). I haven't had the game lock up or crash when it's actually made contact and doing negotiations however.
are any changes going to be made for simultaneous play? the reason I ask is because when one player does a "Global Action" such as updating queues and creating new units the other players can't do anything. so... the only point in playing simultaneous is.. just to move your units at the same time? don't get me wrong though, I still think simultaneous is alot better than non-simul but I just think that some "actions" don't need to be hanging up others like they do.
