I found that when I am making a Borehole or a Condensor, the game now tells me that the weather pattern has been changed to the name of the city that I created my first condensor by, not the city that was actauly affected. I have created 7 or 8 of these enhancments and all of them have listed the name of the first city when the message display comes up. I still love this game though...

This may be an explanation for something I've noticed, which is that the "<faction> terraformers have altered the rainfall near <city>" messages are often/usually messed up. They tend to always indicate the same city in each game, and it could very well be that that city is the first one of mine that built a condenser/borehole...

Looking on my map, that seems to be the case. The first city that I built a condensor by is name that keeps on appearing everytime that a new weather pattern modifier is built. I think that a variable in the coding is not getting re-set after this message is created, and the name that gets written to it originaly is the one that the game keeps for the whole game...

Furthermore, the faction that gets blamed usually seems very improbable, as their territories are nowhere near my city's latitudes.

For example, in the current game the Peacekeepers were blamed for altering weather patterns near a city of mine, but the PKs are on most southern island continents whereas I'm in the far north. (The fact that some of my formers have taken it into their heads to raise land and also to build condensors seems a more likely culprit.)

Ditto to that. I have played 3 games, and I always get that message. It will pick one city, and no matter if the other faction is half a world away, it will still say they are altering my city's rainfall patterns. Funny thing is though (and I'm sorry I'm not positive) it seems to happen only when it's a sea former. Ie: I've had my own units raise sea level and I get this error, even though my sea formers are nowhere near the city in question.

(shhh... be vewy vwy quiet.. I'm hunting pagefawlts.... huhuhuhuhuh...)

I've had the same thing too. Sometimes it happens when my formers are not changing rainfall patterns ANYWHERE, let alone where the computer is telling me they are. Go figure.
