Author Topic:   Economic Victory in V. 2.0 single player BUG!

I'm playing as the Morganites, there's 5 other factions still alive, it's about 2260, and the game lets me declare that I'm going to try and "corner global energy market."
It projects that I will have domination by 2284. I wait until 2284. I do not win. I wait some more. I still do not win. (they haven't taken over my capitol or anything dumb like that.)
I choose "corner market" again. It tells me that I will have total domination of Planet by M.Y. 1319 (!!).
I am playing on Librarian level, and I only had to pay something cheap like 1400 energy.
FIRAXIS boys, what the heck is going on?

I received a similar error, though in my case I was due to win around MY 8425. I was playing as the Gaian faction, on Specialist level. I have an autosave if needed--at least until next time I sit down to play--though from the sound of things, the problem is easily-duplicated enough not to *absolutely* require one.
