I'm wondering if anyone has the same problem that I'm having with the v2.0 patch. The in-game sound is fine before installing the patch. But after installing the patch, I still have the intro movie sound but I have absolutely no in-game sound or music. Any ideas? Thanks...

It's misdetecting your EAX support capability of your sound card. Make sure that EAX and DS3D are set to 0 in the alpha centauri.ini file.
