I hav the German version of this game. In the description of the installation is written, that the full inst version does not need the CD anymore after the installation. Thats wrong, when I start the game, the error message 'no disk inserted' pops up. What is the solution to play without the CD ?

Not currently. It's the EA copy protection (which we had no control over).

Probably not. The copy protection requires the CD be in the drive, and contractually we can't undo that scheme.

What about the US version which doesn't require the CD but still complains about it? Is that considered a bug?

Yeah. I put in some code to store in the registry that it was a complete or not, but we didn't get a chance to enter the code to check. v3.0.
