The peacekeepers surrendered to me after I conquered some of their bases. Later on, during the sunspot thing where no communication is possible, I nerve stapled some of his old bases, but they shouldn't find out right? After the sunspot thing was over, he declares war on me and wouldn't surrender until he died. Is this the way the game was designed? You don't get sanctioned, but other factions will still find out after communication restarts? I also had a former build a mag tube through his territory when he declared war, but I don't really think that counts as an atrocity.

I experienced this too with the spartans and university in one game. Evidently, the other factions don't find out, but the faction you nerve stapled does, cause you did it to his/her former cities. This is reasonable and realistic I think. |

I totally agree it's reasonable. It makes sense really, you check up on your old city every now and then, and boom, you find out your old citizens have been nerve stapled. The more I think about it, this must be a design choice, and the correct one too. |
