We played SMAC via TCP/IP in simultaneous mode. One of the players caused freezes after 10-20 turns. After we had to abandon the 2nd game because of this event he went to another PC. However in the 3rd game, he caused a freeze again after some 10 turns. Eventually we found out that it was the CTRL-SHIFT-R for formers (road building) which led to the fault. Since the 4th game noone uses this command and we were able to play for hours without any problem. If needed I can try to get a saved game (or reproduce one) with this fault. |
