Whenever I start the game up the game screen is shifted on my monitor about 1/4 of an inch to the left. I have to manually adjust it every time and readjust my windows when I quit the game. How do I fix this? Other than that I really spend way too much time with this game

When you change the resolution the signals from the videocard to the monitor get all different, so the picture may end up shifted left/right or up/down. That's because of the way the hardware works... Recent monitors have a little memory chip and they'll remember how you adjust the settings for every resolution. So when you switch back to highres when leaving the game they'll shift the pic back to the right for you. Or, you can try setting the windows resolution to the same resolution like the game. Windows will then too probably be shifted to the left, if you compensate then game + windows will be correct..
