I have noticed that as you approach turn 100 and maybe 10 cities and a few dozen crawlers and terraformers, the game really slows down. When you pick a unit or city it takes a second to respond. This goes for anything, including moving the screen, units, and just waiting for your autounits to perform. I have a Pen-200 MMX and I am suprised at how much the turns bog down. Is there anything that I can turn off for quicker play? |
