I've had problems playing multiple games without restarting the game. For example I played through the tutorial missions. The first two were fine but by the third my machine was running so slowly that I could hardly get anything done. I quit & restarted and everything was fine again. I've seen the same thing happen after I quit huge game-world and started a new game without exiting SMAC. The next game was so hideously slow that it was unplayable until I exited completely and restarted SMAC.

Cheers
James

We squashed a few in v2.0 so if you haven't picked that up yet, do so.

Now I've seen the same problem after an IPX multiplayer game ... after playing for several hours I had to restartt the computer before anything was useable (couldn't even play solitaire!)

Cheers
