When trying to start a game over a LAN w/NT4.0 SP4. After picking multiplayer and IPX I get the message that I am missing DPERR_UNAVAILABLE and that the game requires proper installation of DirectX 5.0 or later. I know that DirectX is not to be used with NT.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Weird. It shouldn't use anything beyond dx3, which is included with sp3 and higher. Try tcp/ip over the lan.
