After reinstalling Smac for a full intsallation, I've found a very minor bug with the prefrences where you set if you just want to click on "radio buttons once" rather than having to click 'ok' for everything.
Ths bug is- the game you set it ON it dosn't come ON until you exit out and start/reload a game.
