I ran into a problem with a late-game situation where I asked the Gaians to cede control of a base, and when presented with the menu of her cities to choose from, there was no scroll bar to go through the list. I know she had more cities than appeared on the list, because the city I wanted her to give up was not on the screen. Also, the last city listed on the menu would only "light up" when the mouse was over it, then it would go black again. This is in the full version of the game, not the demo. I don't know if maybe it's in the game's logic to only offer certain cities, but the "mouse-over" problem on the bottom item in the list seems like a definite bug. Tim

Same happened to me. But after placing the curser on the list and getting one of the bases to highlight, I was able to work up and down the complete list with the directional arrows. |

Hmm... I don't even get directional arrows. I doubt the version 2.0 patch will fix it if JM says he'll look into it, but I'll probably add the patch when I finish this game. Don't want to change any of the game mechanics in mid-stream.If it's any additional help, I'm playing on a huge, random map. Don't know if that factors into it at all, other than that most of the factions still in the game at this point have quite a few more cities than are able to be displayed in one screen of the "Cede Control" menu screen. Great game though, WELL worth the wait. Tim |

i had the same problem, but realized mongoose is right- you need to highlight a base, then use the down arrow key on your keyboard to scroll down. it works but it would be easier to understand with a scroll bar. |
