If I ask for a custom map size (say 100x200), then try to quick start another game, I end up on a smaller map. I don't know what size map, but I think its about normal size or so.

I believe quick start starts the game on a small map, playing as Gaian's by default. I'm sure I read this here somewhere. Personally I have to choose custom size every time I restart..

Quick start uses the settings from the previous game, whatever they might have been.
