When attempting to edit my own map a option to create random map slowly is available. upon clicking on it it shows the retangular geography of the planet. then it shows the land formations being generated upon the water. However after formation it seems to lock my computer up. has anybody else encountered this problem? |

it takes a VERY long time. I thought also that I had locked up in one session (on a very large map) but then all of a sudden it started up again. After if finishes the shorelines/land masses it does changes to the sea as well (different depths, etc). The long pause/lockup happened in between for me. Is this what you saw? Land, and then a long time of nothing? Try to let it ride next time, it takes a LONG time... Jim |
