I don't know if this has been posted yet. I was playing the v1.1 demo and near the end of the game acquired a good deal of money. I proceeded to buy out (pay money to acquire a base) the last remaining cities from Deidre, Yang, and Morgan (who had all surrendered to me previously.) Feeling sneaky, I took out a loan from both Yang and Deidre after I had bought their last cities, thinking that when they were eradicated I wouldn't have to pay them off! The turn after I did this, I received a message informing me that their factions had been eradicated. The loans, however, were still in effect! Worse still, I had lost the points for a surrendered faction on my demo score, and they didn't show up as eliminated factions either! For the remainder of the game, I was stuck paying off loans to non-existent factions and I didn't get the credit for eliminating them either!
I have a save game file of my game if you need it.
