An empty bunker within 2 squares of a city is automatically "owned" by that city. Fair enough.

However, as a consequence, a unit from an opposing faction cannot go THROUGH the bunker -- the bunker is automatically "captured" instead, using up the remaining movement of the unit. Subsequent units may move through and past the bunker. However, leaving the bunker empty forces its capture once again.

Were empty bunkers meant to inhibit movement, or was this consequence unintended?

It would be great if bunkers gave the owner a 1 square radius of 'owned' land. Most times bunkers are placed near enemy borders, and there's nothing worse than having a bunker, sensor array, and road network stolen from under defending units.

Cool idea, Antiam. Some people really hate losing land, and this will send them rushing to fortifytheir borders.
