After playing the single player game way too much I turned to direct modem-to-modem play with my mate. All goes well until, aproximately 3-5 turns in, the game hangs on the "Preliminary" stage of the upkeep process. I am still able to save the game but, even after loading/rebooting etc the game will still hang after another 3-5 turns at exactly the same stage.
I hope someone can help me here as I will be less than happy to find out this is buggy software I have paid for.
I am using a PII 266/32RAM etc.

Wait for v2.0 (very soon) if this is not the US version.
