Having played several games now I really like mounting significant air attacks, but a bug with this is really giving me grief. I've played with both V1.0 and V2.0 versions and the problem is version independent.

OK, so I send a needlejet out to harass an enemy object. Turn 1 complete, must return needlejet to base in turn 2.
I use the mouse to designate a base as the destination and the needlejet starts moving. However if the number of squares to the destination is equal to the number of movement points remaining then the pathing algorithm seems to get upset and the needlejet only moves one square and then waits for more user interaction. I have to repeat this moving the needlejet one square at a time until I've moved it back to the base.

Even pressing G to make the jet return to a base causes this bug to rear it's head.

Most annoying and has caused me to loose a jet or two when I give up using the mouse and rely on the cursor keys and my ability to steer a straight path.

I think, and I may be wrong, that this is an example of the AI "knowing" it's own shortcomings. It defaults to you, the owner of the unit to get it to the base without crashing. AI's in general being less than smart, I could see it taking a wrong turn and crashing a perfectly good unit. It's not a bug, it's a FEATURE!

Actually, it's a bug. It's fixed in v3.0.
