Topic: "I shall turn over one of my bases to you" problem

posted 03-10-99 04:50 PM ET I found that the game only allows 9 city choices when you choose this in the diplomacy screen. Why is that so? Often I like to conquer enemy bases for peace, then give them back, but I can't because the cities aren't shown. If you have 30 bases, you should be given 29 choices instead of just 9 (the HQs naturally can't be chosen). If this is a bug then please fix it in v3.0 Firaxis. Also, the "NO OVERLAPPING BASES ALLOWED" pre-game option feature I mentioned in a previously (under Mattyr's post) will be greatly appreciated if implemented. Thanks!

We added mouse scrolling in v3.0. You can actually scroll through all of the bases with the arrow keys. Select one, then press down arrow past the bottom of the list.

I hope that patch comes out soon. When I select one - that's the one I've selected. I've turned on "one-click" radio buttons for ease of use (and to force my mouse accuracy up )

Whenever I bring up the turn over a city window, the first city in the list is always selected, so I just scroll down with the arrow key. I have 1-click turned on too.

I have the 1-click turned off with the 2.0 update, and you just need to hi-light any city and you can arrow-key scroll through all of the cities.

You can also type the first letter of the city name and it will scroll through all available choices.

Page Down also works for this problem.
