Chairman Yang is being very helpful and contributin missile needlejets to my war effort (6-1-24) (Not sure about the last number). I watch him fly his blue needlejets into my city, then they turn green. When my turn rolls around and I look at the units in that city, instead of 6-1-24 needlejets, I now have 13e-<1>-2 rovers! (Shard, AAA Empath Rovers). Kinda nice, but I feel like I'm cheating.

Nah, if you had an available slots in your workshop (and the requisite tech) you'd have gotten them. It tried to find as close a match as possible, couldn't, and basically gave you what it could. jkm firaxis games |

In hotseat multiplayer I've had this happen. My wife gave me units, and they downgraded substantially. We were at the same tech level and both had spare design slots, but may not have had the same exact design. Later I gave her an obsolete missile artillery rover (*2) and she got a tachyon hovercraft (*4). So, I gave her the rest of my obsolete artillery and told her to go kick Gaian butt. Mark |
