Movie problem related to current-rules-bug??

I had problems with stuttering movies (and sound). I unmarked the movies in preferences and didn't think about it anymore. Then I had that "can't win problem". I realized that if I use "Current rules" option all X-marks in the rules setting were gone (except one). Jeff answered that it was the tutorial setting that I've got (= bug). Then I started a new game with customezed rules and reactivated the movies. And the movies works fine. I don't see the connection here, and I admit that it sounds crazy but no other changes is mad, no reinstall, nothing. Can someone explain this. I run Win95 (latest version + DirectX 6.0) UK version of SMAC. |
