posted 03-08-99 03:26 PM ET Sorry if this was posted before. But I was playing over the weekend and I was attacking another faction with airplanes (sorry, I don't remember what exact kind they were, but I didn't modify them in any way). After my plane attacked a ground unit and won, it just vanished off the map! This happened again and again until like 8 or 9 of planes won the combat then just vanished. Is this something addressed in the patch? If not, can something be done about it?
Thanks

Watch your planes' fuel supply. They have enough for two turns which means if you attack twice in a row they're out for two turns and crash through lack of fuel. You need to return to base every with your planes after you attack with them.

Seen this problem myself while playing. The actual cause is trying to keep your planes in the air too long. They have to get back to one of your bases before the end of the second round or you lose them. For some reason, if you are just moving them between bases you get a short crash sequence when they run out of fuel. However, if you have just used them in combat they simply disappear.

Yeah, but I've played the game and kept the planes parked next to an enemy city and could attack on every turn. HOWEVER, that was before i DL'ed the v.2.0 patch (i think). So I think you used to be able to do that b4 the patch. But I know I used to be able to do it.
