I would appreciate it very much if someone at Firaxis could merge the change production and the que screens in the base managment department. It would save a lot of clicking and make the base managment considerably faster. I don't think it's a lot of work for you but it would remove one of the biggest nuissances of the game (for me at least). One of the major things that you have to add to the game is extra chassises (submarine, bomber, artillery). I think the build your own unit idea will then come much more to life in the game. Also it will become much easier to discriminate between the different units. It might be a lot of work/money, but it's worth it.
What I think is even more important, but perhaps not realisable anymore, is to add some vivid colours (other then red) to the colourscheme of the landscape. It would create a much more alien landscape: A planet with a diverse eco-system with things to discover at every turn...
It might be sufficient to make some fungus now and then yellow or blueish. Perhaps you could correlate the colour of the fungus with the humidity or height of the terrain. A little rotting fungus here, a little dried to a crisp fungus there. Perhaps some sandy terrain somewhere.
Also, I have noticed that the AI let's itself be build in rather easily. I hope this can be fixed.
I wasn't impressed at first with the game, but now that a lot of little things are being changed and added I can see the game really gaining some extra lifepower. There's still a lot of potential out there, and I think this game can become a classic. The work of the support people is essential (as is the feedback of the customers) for achieving this goal. I hope that you will continue this work for a long time, perhaps even longer then there was originally budgeted for.
