Are we supposed to be able to see the tech. that we are currently researching on the Labs page when playing in blind research mode? The manual states that in the upper left hand corner of the labs screen, the computer will tell us what we are currently researching, but (playing in blind mode) it does not do that. I presume this is an oversight in the manual and "blind" truly means "blind" until the tech. is discovered? Moreover, the tech tree in the middle of the labs screen seems to always default to the first tech. researched (which makes using that tech tree pretty damn annoying once you have advanced) and I can't figure out how to change the displayed tree to another goal (ie: from knowledge to conquer or build). Any thoughts?

Yup ... blind research is blind all right. However you can see what colour research is going on using F2 ... Blue=Discover, Yellow=Build, Red=Conquer, Green=Explore.
