I am missing about half of the messages that pop up on the bottom of the map screen due to other actions occuring during the game turn wether it be production screens popping up or other factions contacting me in the middle of my actions. Is there anything in the works to change it so that ALL of the message are transferred to the message window...not just those the game feels is important.

I have sometimes thought that may be a good idea as preference. But those msgs are repeated again in the msg window (that the power graph is also shown in) - except there are only a limited number of msgs that can be shown in that window. So if you have 300 cities, you're likely to miss half of the msgs anyway.
What really bothers me about that, is sometimes you can move the action and diplomatic windows that come up to see whats' underneath and sometimes you can't.
