OK- I know that I have posted similar topics in the past, but I feel as if this is a matter that needs attention. The situation is the following-UoP playing a peaceful game (aggressive only when pushed). Derdrie declares ventetta essentially because I refused to give her tech (I am even running a green economy)-so fine, I open up a big ol can of whoop ass on her, suddenly she is accusing me of atrocities!!! Now I realize that it is possible to frame other factions for atrocities (although I can't seem to pull it off), but the only other faction with troops near her is Lal. Further, I have noticed what seems to be a causal link. Every time I use my locusts to attack specifically the last unit in an ocean based city (which seems to always be a transport vessal of some sort), she gets on the comm and accuses my of being a murderer that she will see choke on his own bile, AND the number of years that other factions are imposing sanctions goes up. Are the locusts an atrocity, and I missed that portion of the manual? Can I get sanctions just by another faction accusing my of atrocities? If another faction did frame me,would I ever have any way of knowing this? It should be noted that I role play when I play, and see UoP as the ultimate pragmatists-I never commit atrocities if I am on top or winning, but will if I start to lose bases (after all, this will impede my research), in this particular game, I had commited none. Any thoughts? I love this game, but this feature has my perplexed, and sort of pisses me off, I can't figure out what I am doing wrong.

Thans in advance.
