You know, every time I play more than 4 hours of SMAC, I discover at least a new bug. I am very impressed with how well SMAC runs.

The Bug Reports:
SMAC:

Automated Air Units fuel is inaccurate. Full fuel when awakened/alerted due to enemy.

Elected Supreme Commander. Deidre (computer player) disputed - After she was conquered, game continued. Supreme Commander council option was no longer listed dispite having MMI.

My Automated Former built a bunker. I don't have the tech to build bunkers. I do have weather project. Related bugs - I can't terraform the volcano mouth, yet computer controlled Formers can place roads and sensors. Tutorial message suggests placing a sensor on it, but you can't do so (player control). Related bug 2 - Computer player raised land to form a land bridge to invade my land. Yet, computer player did not have the requisite tech. (Neither did I, but I had built the Weather project).

Bunkers should be listed under Adv. Military Algorithms and hyperlinked to datalinks entry.

Datalinks entry - Advanced Military Algorithms -
Power should be hyperlinked to datalinks entry under heading Socio/Economic Model

These are not including the teleporting units and lost artifacts that were captured. The next time I have such things happen (teleporting units, units that cease to exist when they are built (city had plenty of minerals to support it), and artifacts that do strange things, I'll send Firaxis the Autosave1 and Autosave2.

Two Enhancement Requests -
1) Thinker and other forms of specialist should be hyperlink entries in the datalinks.

2) It would be nice to be able to see what my opponents *reputation* is - honorable, treachourous, whatever. (If I missed this, my apologies).

Note that I am running US Version 2. Looking forward to Version 3.

Darkstar - your "Related bug 2 - Computer player raised land ...": Are you sure a pod wasn't discovered that caused an earthquake and that raised the land bridge? That's happened to me. It was in an area of the map I hadn't discovered, all of a sudden there were mountains and a land bridge. I tried going back to a previously saved game, found the pod, and it triggered an earthquake that raised a land bridge.

Follow-up to Diplomatic Victory Disputed:
After Diedre denied my Right to Rule as Supreme Commander, the game rolled on after her faction elimination.

Not having anything better to do, and wanting the Morgan victory, I went on and crushed one of my allies who had agreed to me being Supreme Leader. Imagine my surprise when SMAC (US version 2.0) told me that I had united the world in a cooperative victory, and marked up my diplomatic victory! Apparently, there is either a test missing, or too low in the code and needs to be moved up.

On the issue of whether it had been a unity supply pod... It was not. Nor was it a volcano erupting. I could see all of the land and there were no pods. Santiago *really* wanted to pound me, and apparently had built a land bridge by killing all the civil engineers that told here that they couldn't do it and using their bodies as part of the land fill to reach my shores. Its the only thing I can think of since I had her data links well infiltrated. I even went and looked over her techs after it happened, as I was going to steal anything I didn't have... she didn't have the tech to raise land. Nor the SP. So the Former logic has at least two sets of conditions... one for the human player, and one for automatic.

This isn't really a reply, but an addendum of bugs. BTW, is there a "proper" place to send bugs?

If a ship unit picks up an artifact (via a unity pod) during explore mode, it starts going in circles, every turn.

Also, automatic tubes (shift-ctrl-t) doesn't seem to do much or works extremely slowly.
